Quilt Central Tv was created as a visual method of teaching about the lifestyle of quilting. Since this is a lifestyle, it has branches like a tree that reach into areas of home decorating, weaving, beading, embellishments, fabric collecting, fashion, garments, painting, gifts and family values. We have taped teachers from around the world, we have visited places that quilters love to travel to.We have explored factories that make the tools and thread we use and museums that feature the best of our world of quilts. Our videos were shown on National PBS and the Create Channel. Later as web tv developed they were viewed on QNN and Quilters TV. They were shown on TIVO and archived for the viewers there.  Quilt Central won eleven awards and was even nominated for an Emmy. The show itself was ranking second in the craft line up on many or the channels. We are very proud of Quilt Central TV and how this educational program brought into view the aspects of this unique lifestyle of quilting.
